‘FISH EYE’ won ‘Best Editing of 2022’ for The Midwest Film Festival and is the First official project of Space Cave Productions.

A conceptual film that explores the struggles of self-expression through the eyes of a homeless veteran artist floating through the afterlife in a diverse city.

Synopsis:

FISH EYE is a hyper-stylized experimental short film. The story is told from the viewpoint of a homeless artist who has passed away on the streets. His soul wanders around the city, observing the strange and unique moments in the lives of the people he encounters. The film provides a candid glimpse into the conversations and deep emotions of 22 city dwellers, ranging from the rich, the poor, the young, the old, businessmen, and criminals. Each character shares their personal philosophy as they walk, creating a subtle but powerful theme: Confidence is silent, and insecurities are loud. The film was shot in one take, covering approximately eight city blocks. The cast features 22 improvisational actors from the Chicago land area with professional backgrounds.
